Phase 10 Community Park and playground begins construction.

We are pleased to see that construction has begun on the Phase 10 Community park and playground. When complete, the park will feature a ball court, gazebo and benches, a children’s playground, and paths and greenspace.  This newest addition to the myriad parks and trails throughout Mill Springs will offer a safe and friendly environment for children to play in and for families to gather.

Mill Springs Village’s 3rd Annual Community BBQ – September 17, 2011

This year’s BBQ was another great success, thanks to a break in the weather, some fantastic volunteers and supporters, and really amazing hamburgers!  We would especially like to thank the Mill Bay Fire Department for their continued annual support and presence, the Island Savings Credit Union for the loan of the tents, and a big thanks for the awesome coffee and hot chocolate from the Mill Bay Serious Coffee.  The biggest thanks goes out to the residents of Mill Springs who make this event so much fun.  We saw lots of new faces too and we welcome them all to Mill Springs!

April 24, 2011:  Mill Springs’ 2nd Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt.

The Easter bunny was particularly busy this year in Mill Springs!  We had a fantastic turnout of parents and kids, and everyone left with a full basket and a happy face.  We are pleased to see so many new faces this year, as our Community continues to grow.
